First-Ever 25 Under 25 Listing to Recognize Young Philanthropists

Washington County, OH — Marietta Community Foundation proudly announces the launch of the 25 Under 25 listing, celebrating young individuals in Washington County, OH, who are making significant contributions to their community. This new initiative aims to honor those under 25 who demonstrate outstanding dedication to philanthropy, volunteerism, and community service.

The 25 Under 25 program seeks to spotlight young leaders who inspire positive change and motivate others to engage in philanthropic activities. By showcasing these remarkable individuals, the Foundation hopes to cultivate a culture of giving and community involvement.

Nominations are open from June 1, 2024, to September 1, 2024. Community members are encouraged to nominate deserving candidates, including self-nominations, via the Foundation’s website. Nominees must be 25 years old or younger as of January 1, 2024, and have a significant connection to Washington County, OH.

Nominees will be evaluated on their:

  • Volunteer Work: Impactful and consistent volunteerism.

  • Fundraising: Successful initiatives for charitable causes.

  • Advocacy and Awareness: Efforts to raise awareness surrounding social issues and advocate for positive change.

  • Project Initiation: Leadership in starting community projects.

  • Ethical Conduct: High ethical standards in philanthropic endeavors.
