Morgan County Scholarships

  • Eligibility:

    • Merit Based and Need Based

    • Fort Frye, Waterford, or Morgan High School

    • Current Senior

    • Associates, Bachelor’s or Certificate Program

    Requirements:

    • Our reason for this scholarship is in memory of Greg because of his caring and willingness to give to others. In 250 words or less, describe your thoughts on caring for others and how you could be beneficial to others.

    • Print and submit the following along with your master application: Greg Schilling Memorial Scholarship

  • Eligibility:

    • Merit Based

    • Washington County or Noble County High Schools

    • 2.5 GPA

    • Current Senior or Nontraditional Student

    • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

    Requirements:

    • Write an essay not to exceed one-page discussing your involvement in your community, your volunteer work, and post-secondary educational plans.

    • Print and submit the following along with your master application: Magnum Manufacturing Scholarship

  • Eligibility:

    • Need Based

    • 2.0 GPA

    • Pursuing Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Certificate/Technical Program, Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential

    • Pursue Early Child Care, Education or Child Development curriculum

Timeline

January – March

  • Complete the FAFSA.

  • Complete the Master Application.

  • Obtain an Official Transcript from your most recent school.

  • Complete essays and other individual scholarship requirements.

  • Compile your application packet and submit it by Monday, March 18, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. to:

April

  • Notify MCF if any application information changes.

  • Applications are processed and distributed to dedicated scholarship committees for extensive review and voting.

  • Selection notifications are emailed to recipients by April 21, one week before the Scholarship Awards Ceremony.

  • Recipients attend the Scholarship Awards Ceremony on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

May – June

  • Recipients submit Scholarship Contract(s) by July 1, 2024.
