Jill Witucky Joins Board of Directors Following Departure of Kin Brewer

Washington County, OH — Following the resignation of Kin Brewer, Marietta Community Foundation (MCF) welcomed Jill Witucky to the Board of Directors in June 2021.

Brewer served on MCF’s Board for 6 years, and resigned in March 2021. “My semi-retirement (to travel more) brought about my resignation from the board,” said Brewer. “I will always support MCF as much as I am able. It was so gratifying to witness firsthand how much of an impact the Foundation/Donors have in our community.”

“It has been an honor to work with Kin over the years,” said Heather Allender, President & CEO. “We sincerely appreciate the leadership, insight and support that Kin has provided.” With the addition of Witucky, the board currently has 10 members.

Witucky, a graduate of Muskingum College and Marietta College, is the Marketing Manager for Pioneer Group. Prior to this, Witucky was the Advancement Director/Marketing Director for Parkersburg Catholic High School and a sixth-grade teacher at St. Mary’s Catholic School.

“I was honored to be asked to be on the Board,” said Witucky. “My mother, Arlene Archer, served two terms and I learned a lot about the Board from her. I am at a point in my life where I want and I have more time to give back to the community that I love. Marietta has strong roots in my family’s history and I feel strongly about giving back to our community.”

Marietta Community Foundation supports philanthropy and efforts to improve natural, human and civic resources in Washington County through grants and initiatives. Founded in 1974, Marietta Community Foundation has grown to approximately $42.6 million in assets, oversees more than 300 funds and has distributed more than $22 million to charities while meeting rigorous national standards for operational quality, donor service, and accountability in the community foundation sector.
