Unlock Your Potential: MCF Opens 2025 Applications for Nearly $500,000 in Scholarships
Washington County, OH — The path to success begins with a single opportunity—and for students in our region, that opportunity starts today.
Marietta Community Foundation is proud to announce that applications are now open for over 60 scholarships, offering approximately $500,000 in financial aid.
Whether you’re pursuing a college degree, honing your craft at a trade school, or stepping into the honorable service of our nation’s military, these scholarships are designed to transform aspirations into achievements. With support extending across Washington County, OH; Noble County, OH; Wood County, WV; and beyond, the Foundation’s impact is as far-reaching as it is life-changing.
We have many scholarship opportunities, but it’s the support of our donors that makes scholarships like the Harold & Diane Tuten Memorial Scholarship possible.
Rachel Klinger, daughter of Harold and Diane Tuten, shared: "This scholarship was created in memory of our parents, who believed in the power of education to transform lives. It reflects their commitment to helping others, no matter their circumstances. By supporting a high school senior beginning their educational journey and a non-traditional student seeking to improve their future, we hope to empower individuals to achieve their goals and inspire positive change."
The scholarships reflect the diversity and potential of our community, welcoming applicants from all walks of life—whether you’re a high school senior with a vision for the future, a college student continuing your journey, or a nontraditional learner redefining what’s possible.
"Scholarship season is a key aspect of our work at the Foundation," said Britani Merritt, Donor & Program Services Director. "Our donors are deeply committed to providing opportunities that help students in our region access the funding they need to pursue their dreams and succeed on their chosen paths."
Recipients are selected based on core values like academic performance, community service, leadership, character, and financial need. All applications are reviewed through a blind process to allow merit and potential to take center stage.
The Foundation encourages all students to seize this opportunity and explore scholarships tailored to their unique passions, backgrounds, and career goals.
Your potential is limitless. Let us help you unlock it. Apply today.
