Superior Toyota Hyundai Sponsors MCF 2020 Nonprofit Challenge
Marietta, OH – Marietta Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Superior Toyota Hyundai will once again be the lead sponsor for the 2020 Nonprofit Challenge.
“We at Superior Toyota Hyundai value what our local nonprofits do on both sides of the river,” said T.R. Hathaway, Owner of Superior Toyota Hyundai. “The Foundation has done an excellent job of coming up with new ideas to keep this challenge interesting and fun.”
The Nonprofit Challenge gives local nonprofits the chance to win additional funds for their organization through a competition. The competition takes place each year during National Community Foundation Week, November 12th – 18th.
Superior Toyota Hyundai has been the lead sponsor for this event for the past five years.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with Marietta Community Foundation and be the lead sponsor for the 2020 Nonprofit Challenge,” said Tommy Hathaway, General Manager at Superior Toyota Hyundai. “We pride ourselves on our strong and committed sales staff, so partnering with a Foundation that is just as strong and committed to their community fits perfectly.”
This year, 17 teams, representing local nonprofits, raced through Downtown Marietta completing challenges with varying point values. The nonprofits who collected the most points were awarded top prizes of $10k, $6k, and $4k. This year’s winners were The Castle, Camp Hervida, and The Boys & Girls Club of Washington County.
“This past year was a great success,” said Heather Allender, President & CEO at the Foundation. “We look forward to continuing this partnership with Superior Toyota Hyundai and giving more funds to our nonprofits!”
The Nonprofit Challenge, formerly known as the Grant Your Grant Challenge, has given over $87k to local nonprofits over its five-year history.
