MCF Gives Up To $400,000 in Scholarships to Local Students

Washington County, OH – COVID-19 has forced many schools to create alternative measures surrounding graduation and senior award ceremonies. While students and their families are facing great disappointment at the loss of these monumental events, Marietta Community Foundation wanted to salvage the situation by honoring local graduates through a virtual scholarship award ceremony.

During the ceremony, the Foundation announced that up to $400,000 would be given to Washington County’s Class of 2020. The virtual ceremony took place on May 22nd at 2 p.m. via a Facebook Live Stream and the following scholarship awards were announced:
