Join A Committee

At Marietta Community Foundation, we believe that every voice matters in building a thriving and vibrant Washington County, Ohio. To ensure that we truly represent and serve the entire region, we are actively seeking individuals from various backgrounds, geographies, and expertise to join our committees.

Committees provide an opportunity for community members to engage with our Foundation's work and make a meaningful impact without the commitment of joining the Board of Directors. By participating on a committee, you will have a chance to contribute your unique perspectives, knowledge, and skills to support our mission of enhancing the well-being of all residents in Washington County.

Joining a committee offers many benefits to you and our community. You will:

  1. Connect and Engage: Build meaningful relationships with like-minded individuals who share a passion for our community's growth and development.

  2. Collaborate and Contribute: Bring your diverse expertise, experiences, and fresh ideas to the table, contributing to innovative solutions for the challenges we face.

  3. Discover and Develop: Expand your knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting our region while gaining insights from fellow Committee members.

Committee positions are one-year terms and renewal is not automatic to encourage diversity and fresh perspectives. While we highly value the unique strengths and perspectives of our community, we acknowledge that challenges may arise. We understand that not all individuals are an ideal fit for a committee, and we prioritize maintaining a cohesive and effective team. Therefore, applications will be thoroughly reviewed to ensure alignment with our Foundation's values, goals, and objectives.

We encourage you to apply and take an active role in shaping the future of Washington County, Ohio. Your voice matters, and your involvement can make a significant difference in the lives of our residents.

To apply, please complete the application form below. If you have any questions or require further information, feel free to contact us at heather@mcfohio.org. We look forward to working together to build a stronger, more vibrant community for all.
