MCF Welcomes Amy Arnold To Their Team

Amy Arnold

Washington County, OH – Last year, Marietta Community Foundation took great leaps in achieving its vision of seeing Washington County characterized by generosity.

The Foundation’s growth continues to benefit the community at large, but in order for this momentum to continue, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce that they have added Amy Arnold to the Foundation’s staff. Arnold will become the new Support Services Assistant.

“We sat down with several qualified candidates, but Amy stood out immediately,” said Kin Brewer, Chairman of the foundation’s Personnel Committee. “We are thrilled to have her come on and help us achieve our goals as an organization.”

Originally from the area, Arnold and her family moved back to the valley, 17 years ago, after living in Columbus for some time. She and her husband, Chris, wanted to leave the big city and raise their daughters, Grace and Emily, in the small-town atmosphere they had grown up knowing.

For the last two years, Arnold worked for the United Way Alliance in Parkersburg as their Program & Engagement Specialist. In her former role, she worked with many nonprofits in Washington County, which gave the Foundation’s Personnel Committee confidence that “she could hit the ground running” in her new position.

“I am excited about working for the Foundation because I can see the positive impact Marietta Community Foundation makes in our area,” said Arnold. “I hope to help support the staff and good work being done at the Foundation.”
