MCF Bids Farewell To Beuhring, Looks To Hire New Communications Director

Washington County, OH – In December 2018, Mason Beuhring, the current Communications & Program Services Director at Marietta Community Foundation, joined the Foundation team. Now, over two years later, Beuhring is entering a new chapter of his professional career, which leaves a vacancy at the Foundation.

“I can’t thank Marietta Community Foundation enough,” said Beuhring. “I have grown so much during these past two and a half years! The Board of Directors and Staff have provided incredible leadership and I can’t be more grateful for my time with the Foundation.”

Beuhring will be joining Thermo Fisher as a Graphic Designer for the global corporation.

“This was an incredible opportunity for my family and me… we just couldn’t pass it up,” said Beuhring. “Even though I am transitioning to a new position, I will still advocate for the Foundation… the work we do here is incredible! I want the next Communications Director to come in and take the Foundation to the next level!”

The Foundation’s Personnel Committee is beginning the search to find the next Communications & Program Service Director. Those interested in the position should send their resumes to heather@mcfohio.org in PDF format.

“Mason has been an incredible asset for the Foundation,” said Heather Allender, President & CEO of the Foundation. “We will miss him, but we are excited to welcome a new member to the staff. Mason brought our marketing efforts to new heights and we are excited for the next hire to continue that momentum!”
